Hi we have had a great year on the railway with several interesting projects carried out including the automatic signalling system, completion of the Guards vehicle,welcoming BB and his super little loco, ‘Hercules’, and Kevin and Thomas’s tram loco coming along nicely. We have also acquired much plastic sleepered track , points and concrete edging stones from the sadly disappearing Parklands railway, with Brian B’s help. We have had some great running days and lots of friendly banter and many cuppas to keep us going. There is prospect of installing an additional passing loop of the main line near the sheds to allow locos to pull off for a refill and stoke up so as not to block the main lines in 2025……… maybe !!!
