EVFR member Peter purchased this ready to run Class 08 in EWS colours from Compass House in 2014. Initially it was run on a short run of track in his garden. After joining the Ashmanhaugh Light Railway in 2017 it was often seen at the club where it was used primarily for stock movement on Open Days. Peter has recently removed his track from his garden and this loco is now permanently at the EVFR.

The loco has three axle hung 280 watt motors, a fully sprung welded steel chassis and a 4QD 24 volt electronic controller.
